50 Cent in concert
I just went to the spring concert at my University last night, and saw 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes. I have been to a few rap shows, and have seen Big names like Snoop Dog and Dr Dre.... and i could go one for a while about who i have seen. Anyway, 50 cent was weak at best in concert, it was rather disapointing. He had no energy and when you are only known for your singles, for god sakes do them. He however decided to pass on his new hit, "magic stick" and also use a diffrent back beat for his other songs... overall i would just like to say pathetic. However there was a bright spot to the whole concert and that was Busta, really all i can say, is if you like rap, then you deffiently should go see Busta. He has a ton of energy and the rest of flip mode squad is amazing. Besides when he did senario, thats as close as you will get to ever hearing A Tribe Called Quest again. Just thought i would give everyone the heads up not to drop money to see 50 cent, and tell everyone to see Busta. By the By my tickets for this event $10.

I watched him perform on a couple of shows, and I thought he was very weak. He hobbled out onto stage, the backing track blaring out all the words, and he occasionally shouted (in a very different voice) over them, but usually he just let the music play. He threw stuff into the crowd, and had 5 guys behind him who also yelled over the backing track.
On top of that, they wanted the music to drop out occasionally to pronounce the end of phrases, but when the backing track dropped out, you could clearly hear that he was off, didn't sound right, and was a little out of breath. |

50 cent just played at a local university, was supposed to start at 9:30 and didn't show up until 11:15. Then he was only on for 40 minutes! What an asshole! If I had payed for that he would have been wearin' my shoe in his ass, but then again I don't like rap anyways.
