Either John Barleycorn or Low Sparks of High Heeled Boys has to be at the top of any Traffic list...I slightly prefer Low Sparks myself. Any other thoughts? Did Steve Windwood ever do anything else as worthy?

John Barleycorn; I had a buddy who was positive that John Barlecorn was a Jethro Tull album; he was kind of a dumb shit.

Low Sparks of High Heeled Boys is jammin'....Steve Winwood has a double LP set called Winwood, that is great. It's like the definitive Winwood...I've got it on vinyl, so I couldn't tell you the year it was produced. The playlist is as follows:

guttersnipe, I somehow missed the double LP. I do have some Spencer Davis though, and note that some of the tunes on your posted list went out under that group (although Winwood was the talent, even as a teenager)

Yeah, it could be one of those old records that never made it to digital format...This is the very reason, I collect vinyl. There is so much good music out there, that is becoming rarer and rarer as time passes. If your really interested, here are the specs:

I'm pretty partial to Canteen, myself. If I have to pick between Barelycorn and Spark, though, it'd be Spark, if only for the title cut.
