Does anyone remember "The spiders from mars" BEFORE Bowie?
 

I once had a vinyl of their album, about 20 years go. Like an idiot I dont know what happened to it. Man it was good. Have any of you ever heard of them?

I'm not an expert on them, but I don't think there was "The Spiders from Mars" without Bowie. The members that eventually became the Spiders played together, in parts, in other bands, but never as the Spiders...that I know of.

The four members: David Bowie, Mick Ronson (band leader, arranger, guitar, piano and vocals,) Mick Woodmansey (drums,) and Trevor Bolder (bass.)

Edit: The spiders were only together as a whole, from the beginning, from 1971 to mid 1973. Compliments of google.
