You know that really subtle form of jazz that's often used in car commercials and European films?
Things that have sampling on top of a quiet drum track and usually have someone saying things like "ugh" periodically. It's really hard to describe, actually. BUT Know any good songs? Or at least what I'm talking about so that you can give a better description of it?

for an acura commercial, they used a track from nicola conte'. i bought the album, it's quite good. i think that track was part of a collection called "eighteenth street lounge".
but i'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

This may not be what you are talking about, but my favorite jazz-electronic blend is Groove Collective. Thier newer stuff is more mellow, so go with older stuff for more activity.
