RIAA gets 'Annihilated'

Annihilated has a few things to say to the artists who aren't speaking up ...

What a strange occurrence, another symptom of a world gone topsy-turvy. Musicians are no longer the champions of free speech and artistic expression. They’ve become the persecutors, their recording industry merely part of the modern power-elite.

Protecting their private property is their number-one cause. This rich, decadent art society is quick to use heavy-handed legal tactics against the poor and defenseless. Principles that support individual privacy and freedom of information are meaningless to this group of phonies.

Why are we declaring checkmate? Their labels have commanded them not to talk. These compromised creators have to look the other way, while a campaign of fear and terror is being waged on their behalf. Checkmate!

CHECKMATE RIAA, released Sept. 23, 2003, is already being played on independent radio stations all over the United States. Its simple message is clearly belted-out by Curt Harpel. Curt’s vocals are from a concerned heart, the range of chords can be felt from his alarmed soul. Many hours of intense studio work have made CHECKMATE RIAA the anthem for millions of music-lovers caught in the cross-fire.
