Personally I use Fruity Loops 4.1 Producer Edition.

My experiences with sequencers so far has only been, however, midi sequencers like anvil studio (midi blows... lol), modplug, fast tracker (that one for dos or something), and fruity loops.

Of course I like Fruity Loops because it's a good couple generations ahead of the other things I've used, but I see people using all different sorts of sequencers like Renoise or Reason. Overall learning Fruity Loops was actually not all that hard, mastering it is making it even more fun.

So, what's your sequencer of choice?

I use Renoise as my main sequencer. I much prefer the tracker interface to the piano roll, coming from a background of Ft2. I also dabble with Buzz, Psycle and Xhip Traxer, anything I can squeeze a sound out of that has a tracker interface and I'm there
