The Perfect Band
Ive had this discussion before with many of my friends and we have come to this conclusion thus far:
-You would have David Grohl on Drums (mainly because we dont know any other drummers, and I know he is one of the best with all the side work he has done) -Jaco Pastorius on Bass - Yingwie Malmsteen on Backup Guitar -Jimi Hendrix on Lead Guitar -Eric Clapton and John Lennon writing Lyrics -and we coudnt agree on a singer, I think Freddy Mercury Mind you this would never work, too much ego in one room, but I bet it would be pretty kick ass. Voice your opinions please |

Hrm that band has a name doesnt it......Hrm guess not, Peppers are a great band, but Antony has a habit of writing songs he cant exactly sing well unless he is in the studio, case and point, Cant Stop. If you try to sing it like he does, its pretty hard. Great Studio Band though.

Flea learned everything he knows from Jaco Pastorius. Putting it blatantly, Jaco pretty much created the modern base style. and Yingwee Malsteen is one of the greatest solo guitarists ever. If you would like proof I would suggest you dld the song Blitzcreig by him. Its incredible from start to finish.

Vocals - Maynard James Keenan/ Danny Boone (Rehab)
Drums - Raymond Herrera(Fear Factory)/Stephen Carpenter (deftones) Guitar - Dave Gilmour/Shavo Odj...(how many shavo's do we know) Bass - Daron(from SOAD as well) Note: Shavo and Daron just blend so well together. so if they had the rythm going with Gilmour blasting solos in the back it would kick too much ass. Now i think THIS band should team up with the production group Organized Noize. they'd off a BIG BAND sound to some songs. i just think it would be ground breaking stuff |
