Er, have you ever seen Billy Corgan perform live? :p Once he gets outside the studio, he can't carry a tune in a bucket.

I never listened to Zwan I do like Billy Corgan and lately i've been listening to the Smashing Pumpkins. I'm kind of a late fan of them but oh well.

That does suck, i dont like seeing any band break up.

Doesnt affect me nearly as much as Fear Factory breaking up, still sucks though.

Doesn't really affect me much either, though I do own a copy of their May Star of the Sea CD. And their songs were so happy too... oh well. Another one bites the dust.

A few weeks earlier I broke up with my girlfriend, it didn't hurt as much as FF breaking up... I couldn't believe and did NOT see it coming... I felt like total shit after that, I was depressed wasn't talking to anyone at work, it's just that FF is what keep me powered during my final year at School... chances are that I would be dead right now if it weren't for FF.

Their new song's are quite mellow and sad, kind of like A Perfect Circle but more Burtonesque, kind of like the last track on Demanufacture, Obsolete and Digimortal.

Well if it makes any of you feel better Billy stated he's tried to move on but his heart is still with The Pumpkins and he says it was foolish of him to think that he could go on without them.

What is wrong with pitchfork, they give good reviews over almost any album, and they have almost any news before anyone else.

Man...this sucks :( I really liked Zwan too (just like I really liked the Pumpkins and thought it sucked when they broke up as well :()

Billy Corgon is a god..... i knew ZWAN would break up fairly quick. too much conflict.

BC is my favorite musical anything, even over Maynard, but he is definatly a stubborn drama queen soooo :) i knew it would die soon

it wasn't his best anyway. it was good, but very pop-like

I thought that was so true when they played a music awards show right after their first album came out...but he redeemed himself a bit when I saw SP play live when Billy was a guest on Politally Incorrect.
