Are you taking the fucking piss ?!?!?! Are you seriously suggesting that Frank Black and Kim Deal and Joey Santiago and David Lovering are touring together again after all these years?!?? Where the hell did you hear this? Christ I have everything from C'mon Pilgrim to Trompe le Monde at home. Hell they were hardly even talking to each other when recording Trompe le Monde and I'd imagine Kim would be busy with the Breeders and I know Black is on tour with the catholics at the moment. Are you completely sure? Sorry, I just don't want to get my hopes up. They just happen to be one of my most favourite bands ever ever. I don't normally get this fanatical about things

I saw them quite a number of years ago(showing my age). It would be a great pleasure to see them again. Simply one of my favorite groups you've made my day!

Hmm... I am a bit suspicious that I can find no more info on this other than the MTV thing. I mean, I looked at any place I could think of that would also have info (Rolling Stone, Spin, CMJ) and I found nothing.
I am still hopeful! |

Wow, that'd be cool...
The Breeders show I last saw was one of my favorite shows ever; they're fricking awesome sounding, and funny as hell to watch, with the face-making and the between song banter/bickering. And Frank Black. Well my band opened for them a few years ago (in Montreal), and I thought they were lacklustre, to put it mildly. We outdid them (and we're not so hot!), and Mr. Black is a bit of a megalomaniac... So I hope Kim beats some sense into him. God love those nutjobs. |

Pretty cool opening for Frank Black, crackpot. Would I have heard of your band? You must be alright, if you are between being "not so hot" and outdoing Frank Black's band. I saw him open for Pearl Jam in Wisconsin in '97, back before I knew who he was. I enjoyed him alright, but I think I'd rather see all of them play together, playing Pixies songs.
