Your Musical Vice

Do you have a particular band, musician, or music that you listen to that you would never publicly admit to? You know the kind you don't want your friends knowing you listen to? The kind when you pull up to a stop light you have to remember to turn your stereo down incase anyone heres you ?

Mine is Irish Folk, particularly The Clancy Brothers

simply put - no.

I do have both the Spice Girls CDs (when they were a full group, the Debut album and the Spiceworld soundtrack), but would admit to it if someone asked.
My musical library spans everything from
Chopin/Beethoven to
Nickelodian music from the 1890's/Ragtime/Jazz/Swing to
Metallica/Contempary Christian Christian (up to 1995)/ Sarah Brightman/60's music/great 80's tunes/ 90's pop crap

Knaw I don't usually care what people think or get embarrased about it. I guess they would make fun of me for owning The Calling: Camino Palmero among others but I myself think it's a great CD and the song Stigmatized is awesome.

Everyone thinks the Duran Duran Greatest Hits CD in my truck belongs to my wife...Sometimes I let them think that.

(Just kidding!)
Hey.... does Little River Band count? I thought they were an awesome band! Still touring I guess, but the only original member is the drummer. Hmmmm...... a Music Trivia question?
No time.... got to go to work.

Not really. I'm not ashamed to admit any of the stuff I listen to. Basically, as long as it's not country music or that hip hop junk, I'm into it.

Generally, I don't care what people think about the music I like. Some of it is mainstream some of it isn't - it;s just what I like. I do however, do not make it commonly known that I am a HUGE REO Speedwagon fan. A buddy of mine pulled up next to me about a year ago at a stop light and I was wailing out "It's time for me to fly" and I still hear about it, so I just keep it to myself.

John Denver. Not that wouldn't admit to it, nor would I be embarressed, just that I don't go around publicly proclaiming it...

My moms a big Manilow fan. So I got into him through her. I love the guy
I write the songs that make the whole world sing!!...... She's also gotten me into Neil Diamond. I guess those 2 people would make fun of me for liking but another band I like a lot that people would definitely make fun a me for liking is Hootie And The Blowfish. I got Cracked Rear View cause they got it for my sis and she didn't want it so she gave it to me and I think it's a great CD. I actually sang Let Her Cry for a variety show my senior year in HS. I was singing it perfect until the very end when I forgot the second part of the last verse Everyone said they couldn't tell though so that was cool .
