I'll throw my vote in with the White Stripes as well.

There's a guitarist (17th best my ass) and a drummer(????? I mean, have you seen her"play"??).

While I'm pissing people off, I never really got the fascination with Joe Satriani. Without a vocal, all of the "songs" start to sound the same. He should have gone the Santana route and got some vocalists to help him out. Waste of talent if you ask me.

Crap you guys - you've taken all the good ones.....Dave Matthews and his odd lyrical sense; Good Charlotte (ack); Linkin Park (no talent white rapper garbage)... But nobody has mentioned the obvious Britney. ewwww....

The Beatles - not to start a flame war, but I think they get TOO much credit. Good pop act though, they did well with shifting their musical style and their image with the times. I think Harrison was their best asset.

LOL! I think they are way overrated as well. There really only is so much you can do with one guitar and a drummer who can barely double-time.

i dont get 90% of everything ever recorded. thats because 90% of anything creative is garbage. fortunately, the remaining 10% still leaves me with literally thousands of bands and tens of thousands of songs to enjoy.

I don't get anything by Tori Amos or Bjork.

I gotta throw in on Dave Matthews Band as well. They are OK...I just don't hear anything that makes them special.

I honestly don't get the fascination with Tool. I mean, there's nothing wrong with the music or anything, but it doesn't appeal to me on any level!

Country Music I just can't stand, as many others here.

Norwegian Black Metal... I mean: What the hell?
I like Swedish Death Metal a lot, but Black Metal just... Sucks. It's not music to my ears. Stupid Mayhem
