I had only heard of this man before and I thought it was a joke... I just checked a couple of pics of him... what the fuck?
Is it a Michael Meyers mask and a bucket of KFC he's wearing? What a fucking moron..

Check out "Transmuation: Mutatis Mutandis" by PRAXIS if you want to hear some truly transcending music. Buckethead on guitar, Bootsy Collins on bass, Brain on drums.....tremendous.

Buckethead is a great guitar player and does make some pretty strange music. However Vai is not Buckethead. That topic was discussed on Vai's message boards and they posted a link that had a picture of Buckethead's face and name and what not and it's certainly not Vai.

He's involved with several groups....El Stew has an album out with BucketHead. He does allot of work with Les Claypool, I though that Claypool was BucketHead for awhile. He's also appeard on Dj Q-Berts album and movie as well as several Invisble Scratch Pickls videos (he can cut a mean record too). Oh and he did a song with Snoop dog and appeared in the video.

Saw him play in Tennessee last year with, Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains.
Les Claypool- Primus,Frog Brigade Brain-Primus Bernie Worrell-Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club Buckethead... It was some strange stuff...Like an hour and a half of total improvisation.
