I've had Sworn Enemy, Lost Prophets, and Killswitch on some other workout CD's I've put together. I could probably add to my list: Apex Theory - Shhh (Hope Diggy) Apex Theory - Apossibly Primer 55 - Loose Prodigy - Breathe Prodigy - Baby's got a Temper 666 - D.E.V.I.L. Corporate Avenger - Christians Murdered Indians |
I think this usually counts as driving songs- anything by:
Murder City Devils Nashville Pussy Rocket From the Crypt |
Anything by RATM.
|
Can't believe no one said Edgar Winter's 'Frankenstein'... I know is really old school classic rock and all, but man, besides low-rider, its like the ultimate cruisin' song. Fun as hell to play on guitar too.... gets u just as pumped playing as listening.
|
The bands:
White Stripes The Doors System of a Down The Refreshments STP The songs: Closer Sweet Home Alabama the Offspring song about road rage (what was the name of that?) Spiderwebs Tank! Ain't Going Down (Till The Sun Comes Up) Ironman |
When I'm in a good mood:
Joan Jett Lunachicks Senor Coconut When I'm otherwise: Ammo Xebox Hypnoskull |
Anything Slayer gets me...particularly God Hates us All.
|
Lots of metal fans here makes me happy...
Dead Embryonic Cells by Sepultura... Pretty much anything by Sepultura w/ Max Cavalera. Refuse/Resist is great, Attitude, Inner Self, Inquisition Symphony. I like sepultura. :) |
Won't Get Fooled Again and Baba O'Riley by The Who. Those power chords that you just know are accompanied by classic Pete Townshend guitar windmills get me every time. Plus, Roger Daltrey's bloodcurling scream at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again is quite therapeutic to, um, scream along to.

Almost every damn on of those songs would be mine. I'd have to add a few of Coal Chambers songs, a bunch of Prodigy, a couple from Taproot, some of the old Static X(Love Dump, as scarey as it was, was definately a good song, maybe not for the lyrics though) a few more of Slipknot(They're the reason I like heavy music, not some teenie bopper crap), Primer 55 has a couple songs that get me goin. I think I'm gonna stop before I think of anymore... I think I might print this thread out so when I get my cable modem down at school, I'll remember what songs to dl... |

Anything from Misfits gets me going and in a good mood, Hybrid Moments seems to be the song that lately I like to listen to right before I go out for the evening.
|
Dimmu Borgir - Mourning Palace. Slow and aggressive. If I'm annoyed and then listen to this track, I build up a rage I can't really control.
Dimmu Borgir - Entrance. Always gives me the creeps and makes me want to kill myself and everybody around me |
Pantera - Suicide Note part 2
