sorry no dallas show but I did see them earlier this year and Metallica still Rules!! The rest of the bands blow, but it was worth the $90 and $30 to park just for Metallica!!

I'm sorry, but 90 damn dollars for a fuckin show is sickening.

I remember seeing metallica on tour for their their Ride the Lightning release. They were opening for W.A.S.P.

dirty fuckin metal heads, Cliff Burton RULES!!!!!!! that show was 10 bucks and I was pissed about those steep prices then.

First of all W.A.S.P opened for them in NYC...and you're right $90 [including the $15 in service charges] is steep, especially when the other bands sucked so bad and the $30 for parking pissed me off even more...but still it's Metallica and I'd do it again...

Now, there's this punk band in the K.C. area that I hear is worth every penny of the $5 they usually get at the door...gotta check them out someday...

Damn straight.

So Metallica took over W.A.S.P. on that tour... as they well should have. I don't even think I stuck around for wasp.

Those were the days. Anthrax included.

sure was...I actually like W.A.S.P they were the back of my jacket in those days [still have it hanging in a closet] but Metallica blew them away ...Armored Saint opened that show...one of the best I've ever been to although it was hot--about 1,000 people stuffed into a club that held like 500 at the most...and Anthrax just rules...heard a rmor they may tour with Metallica in the spring when they do an indoor U.S. Tour...that would KILL!!!

Saw the show in Atlanta. The funny thing is that I had no intention of going because of the rediculous price tag. However, on that Friday, a friend from work offered me tickets. So, instead of sitting in front of a computer at work, I was listening to some great live music. We got to within 30ft of the stage, which was pretty damn good.

MetallicA kicked my ass during their show. The setlist couldn't have been much better, and the band was dead on. It was a pleasure to watch Rob play with the band too.

I'm going to the LA show on Saturday. I'm going for Linkin Park but Metallica is one of those bands you HAVE to see at one point or another. I also will enjoy Deftones, but fuck Limp Bizkit =\
