Dropkick Murphys
The other day I went and bought 4 seemingly random cds, one of them being Dropkick Murphys - Sing Loud, Sing Proud.
This is one kickass album, and I was wondering what other albums of theirs I should look into buying. The sound of a bagpipe in a punk band is just awesome. |

anything is good by the murphys ... these are the ones i have and love each. The one you got has Al Barr as the lead singer. He replaced Matt (or mike i dont remember) Mcolgan and it didnt seem to change the outfit that much which i liked. anyway heres a list i have and adore ...
do or die the singles collection the gangs all here dropkick/face to face split sing loud, sing proud and the new album blackout, it kicks ass too i reccommend them all. and i'll gladly put up with a name like spicy mchaggis when i see the musicisanship of a band with 3 members under 19. well 2 now since spicy left.

Sadly the Dropkicks have spawned a slew of bagpipe punk bands... it's fuckin sick!!!
I'm waiting for the Day Ken kicks Al out of the band and sing all the songs himself... you know it's coming. And second.. not to ruin the precious DKM for you all. But next time you listen to one of their albums. Close you eyes and imaging a big pirate ship. Now imaging the pirates singing DKM songs... DKM sing pirate punk... a yo ho ho ho and a bottle of rum... I'm just a drunken irishmon, from the streets of boston I lay claim, to thwart all ye of punk rock fame..... hahahahahahahahaha
