Trance
Hey everyone, im just wanting to know if any of you actually make any trance music? I have just started to get into it and im using Fruity Loops v3.5 And it is probably the most powerful program i have ever seen. I've had a search around for some good tutorials on how to use it properly but i am unable to find any. Anyone know of any?

There's a built in tutorial, in case you are blind. But if you can't find it, just noodle around till you know what you are doing - there isn't really that much to learn. Unlike photoshop, its not counter-intuitive.
here is a remix of a song i wrote. I used fruity loops for the remix. http://play.mp3.com/cgi-bin/play/pla..._do_not_re.mp3 sorry, its a 12 MB file, in case you're on 56k. also, if it makes you sign in, just fill in the form with gibberish. tell em you're ninety years old. It is a very good program, but there are much more amazing programs (like reason or rebirth) that you can use to get greater effects. Last edited by deadbabiesrhot; 07-27-2003 at 05:53 PM.. |

I use a roland mc505, EMU xl7, jp8000 and rebirth. I would recommend using rebirth as a beginner because it has a real fluid sound that is very forgiving. If you want to get the real sound of trance though I would recommend the xl7 from emu. I have expanded it twice with a full orchestra and a rob papen sample set. For your money the xl7 gives you the best sounds and sequencing abilities on the market that is if you want to get serious and create your own stuff without sampling or using prefabbed sounds.
