The Boss
I am going to see Bruce Springsteen this weekend... I've been to tons of Grateful Dead and Phish and other Jam Happy shows. Never anything so mainstream as Bruce. I know his "greatest hits," but I'm not familiar with most of his repetoire... I bet it will be a good time. Anyone been to a Bruce show lately?

I hardly knew of Bruce when I went and saw him. The only song that I knew was Born to Run and I was sick of it because the radio drove it into the ground. I went during the Born in the USA tour ( another song that got overplayed) Bruce came out a half hour early and did Creedence Clearwater Revival's who'll stop the rain. ( it was raining at the time) The sky cleared up and he decided to go right into the show. Three and a half hours later he played his last encore, then collapsed on the stage. I have never been more impressed with a performance, and I've seen all the greats. I became a true Bruce fan after that. Hope you have a great time at the show!

Well... I had a good time at the show. But, I guess it really is not me. I found it hard to get into, everytime things were just getting interesting, the song would end. Not to mention I had to pay $85 for not so good seats and a drunk girl behind me shreeked out every single lyric the whole show... I'm glad I went, but I don't think I'll be back. I am just sad I can't make any Phish shows this tour.

Seen Springsteen on each of his last three tours through the Jersey/New York area.
He is well worth whatever you have to pay to see him! He plays at LEAST 3 hours, and it's just a total high enrgy performance. Saw opening night at Giants Stadium two weeks ago and was THOROUGHLY impressed! AND he played "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)"!
