What does everyone think of Tatu? Does anyone actually respect them as musicians, or just think they're hot?

There's a nice little bit in Maxim on these two..

Some of their songs are pretty cool especially a few sung in Russian. Other than that the whole barely legal school girl always kissing eachother act has my attention.

Hate their music, but enjoy watching them "do things."

They're hot, and they're bringing schoolgirl bisexuality to the masses...what's not to like?

Their music isn't that great, but they have a good selling stick... Their cute and they kiss and they wear school girl uniforms. Not a fan, but someone is making money.

I LIKE THEIR MUSIC.

I don't care if they have some schtick. They have a great set of voices that go very well with the music they make. Producer makes. Whoever makes. It doesn't matter. Just listen to it for some mindless fun, afterall, that is what pop music is for. I don't need no stinking messages.

ME? I own the english and russian versions of the album. Got the russian one off the internet, then went to the store and bought the english version.

I too like their music. Sure, it's got no message. Sure, it's got no real musical QUALITY. But it's catchy. Especially the Russian versions which are a lot better than the English ones in my opinion.

Sure, they've got a HUGE marketing ploy, and I really feel for them considering their contact pretty much amounts to slavery, but as spleen said, it's mindless, entertaining fun.

I like that they are hot.

Their music is decent but you have to dig for the good stuff. There released stuff is eh. Their B sides are better. I like Clowns and nas ne dogonjat (Although it IS mostly just them saying "nas ne dogonjat" alot) and allready mentioned the russion version is almost always better (with the exception of "all the things she says" which I hate the russion version but only dislike the american version although in its defense it WAS the video that lead me to them its FAR from there best song)

i'm into their music.
its simple, cute and non-challenging.
the fact that they look great and play together is just a great bonus.
