pop stars up to 1950
Who were the big names?
I don't know as much about that era as I should. I have a disk of Caruso doing Italian songs, kind of crossover. I have Robert Johnson, Woodie Guthrie, Hank senior, Leadbelly, the Golden Gate Quartet. In jazz I know my way around a bit better, but I'll be happy if you threw out names there too just in case you come up with something I don't know! |

Sometimes spammers start half-way decent threads. Maybe this will be one of those.

could be the case... why is this guy's status Banned? By the way, the same post appears here:
pop stars up to 1950 at any rate for the OP, I would throw in the obvious: Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Al Jolson....

Leto - spammer that started one thread that MIGHT have legs. So we left this one alone. The other ones were garbage.
