(sigh) Glad to see him still working - I don't think we'll have hium for much longer and it's nice to know he's putting down as much on tape as possible before that happens.

Letterman had a very frank interview with him about it last year - catch it on a rerun if it comes around.

DP, I saw that Letterman show the night it was broadcast. Was very bittersweet. There used to be a clip on the show's website. Might still be in the archives.

I'm thrilled he's still working. Given the diagnosis and his comments, I expected him to die nearly a year ago!

everything's all screwed up in the world right now just because he hasn't had a chance to get to his domain yet. Once he leaves what we perceive as the "world," all of our troubles will be fixed.

That's my theory, at least.

In all seriousness, he's an incredible musician, and I'm glad that he's still working like he is. He should be an inspiration to us all.
