Songs you forgot existed
Today while driving home from work, I heard "Hey Leonardo" by Blessed Union of Souls. I hadn't heard it in years, and pretty much forgot about it completely. Within a few seconds, I had the radio turned up and was singing along at full volume, reminiscing about hanging out after track practice, singing at the top of our lungs and otherwise being silly.
Have you heard a song lately that you completely forgot about, and it brought back some great memories (or, not so great, as the case may be)?

Oh god I totally forgot about that song.. it was so 90s, Matchbox 20 and Chasing Waterfalls kinda stuff. The one I keep forgetting about and remembering is "No Scrubs". Such a classic, and always appropriate.

These two recently:
The second one has what is probably the best intro of any recording in music history. (And bonus points for being Canadian.)

OH wow. Now Magnet & Steel is cruising for my head. It's going to be there all day. I daresay the only thing that could displace it would be....
Wildfire.

yeah, there's nothing like having Magnet & Steel running through your head for a few hours to make you realize how inane the lyrics are, lol

In conversation over the weekend, I ended up quoting "Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads. Then I realized that I hadn't heard or thought of that song in probably a decade.

I don't know how I forgot...
An all-time favorite, but NOTHING like hearing it live.... back when they didn't suck. And, of course... ha ha ha!
