The whole album is a showcase of cutting edge electronic musicianship, which is something that Autechre have been known for of course, but they've never released something of this magnitude. They lost me with Quaristice, and afterwards I had stopped following their updates, but I've been a huge fan since Amber, and when I heard they'd put a new record out, I had to investigate. Now, I don't think I've felt this way about the duo since they released Tri Repetae.
