The Beatles never broke up

The Beatles Never Broke Up...

Some sort of elaborate hoax? Not sure what this dude's angle is. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

I haven't looked into it in detail or anything but IMO its just some garage cover band that wants PR.

The Story of the Tape
Quote:

"About 20 feet away from where I found you" he replied. I told him that couldn't be possible because there were no houses within at least 20 miles from where I last remember being. He then told me that what he was going to say next will be very shocking and unbelievable, and that if he didn't actually experience it himself then he wouldn't believe it. He took a look at the machine near the window and looked back at me and said he transported me into parallel Earth. He said he traveled to our Earth dimension and found me knocked out in the blazing heat with nobody around to help me out. Normally he said he doesn't take outsiders through a portal but in my case he thought I needed urgent help.
Yeah, I can't take this guy seriously.

I googled and the way most of the sites I visited talked, this guy was just writing a fictional story.

Sounds like if it gets a following this may be a type of "Blair Witch".

Is the music any good though?

in regards to the tunes........not bad, they're a mash up of beatle tunes with some overdubs in there...........check the first tune,it's actually not bad.

just click on them in the link Craven gave.

Sion 12-28-2009 03:28 PM

unbelievable story....but so far, I'm digging the tunes

Sick to Death sure as hell sounds like something Lennon would have done in the late 80s/early 90s

Baraka_Guru 12-28-2009 04:42 PM

These are fairly clever mash-ups.

Fans should enjoy them, and they were clearly made by a big fan.

There's Beatles and post-Beatles stuff in there.

It's worth a listen. And not bad at all for being free.

Fly 12-28-2009 05:49 PM

yup!

still trip on this link...........good tunes actually.

you just gotta kinda go with it.

well done.

Craven Morehead 12-28-2009 08:52 PM

Should have written a more believable story on how he found the tape. However, since all the Beatles every move was under a microscope no matter what story he could have some up with, it would have been discredited.

I still wonder what this guy's angle is. Very elaborate to just post MP3s of his garage band for all of us to listen to.

For some reason, I don't believe his claim that everything but "Sick to Death" are alternate universe recordings rather than remixes of other songs. They did do a pretty job getting the Beatles sound and feel on Sick to Death, though.
