The Beatles Never Broke Up...
Some sort of elaborate hoax? Not sure what this dude's angle is. Anyone have any idea what's going on here? |
I haven't looked into it in detail or anything but IMO its just some garage cover band that wants PR.

The Story of the Tape

I googled and the way most of the sites I visited talked, this guy was just writing a fictional story.
Sounds like if it gets a following this may be a type of "Blair Witch". |
Is the music any good though?
|
in regards to the tunes........not bad, they're a mash up of beatle tunes with some overdubs in there...........check the first tune,it's actually not bad.
just click on them in the link Craven gave. |
unbelievable story....but so far, I'm digging the tunes
Sick to Death sure as hell sounds like something Lennon would have done in the late 80s/early 90s |
These are fairly clever mash-ups.
Fans should enjoy them, and they were clearly made by a big fan. There's Beatles and post-Beatles stuff in there. It's worth a listen. And not bad at all for being free. |
yup!
still trip on this link...........good tunes actually. you just gotta kinda go with it. well done. |
Should have written a more believable story on how he found the tape. However, since all the Beatles every move was under a microscope no matter what story he could have some up with, it would have been discredited.
I still wonder what this guy's angle is. Very elaborate to just post MP3s of his garage band for all of us to listen to. |
For some reason, I don't believe his claim that everything but "Sick to Death" are alternate universe recordings rather than remixes of other songs. They did do a pretty job getting the Beatles sound and feel on Sick to Death, though.
