The world is a much sadder place...Barry White dead at 58
Barry White, one of the true gods of music passed away yesterday of kidney failure after years of battling high blood pressure and recently recovering from a stroke last September. I for one think that there will never be a replacement for the musical sensation that was Barry White and his music will live on forever.

yeah... there's a thread about this in Gen. Discussion too... but hell, there couldn't be enough threads to commemorate Barry White. Him and Marvin Gaye were the two most soulful singers ever... and Isaac Hayes is probably the most soulful singer still alive.

Barry White will truly be missed...he was one of my heros...may he rest in peace.
