Rock Love
Okay, so I'm trying to put together a list of rock love songs. So far I got Aerosmith - Cryin', Crazy, Don't Wanna Miss a Thing
Guns n' Roses - Don't Cry, Sweet Child O' Mine I want something along those lines. As much as you can give me. Thanks!

Dude, you have no idea.
AC/DC - Girl's Got Rhythm, If You Want Blood, Whole Lotta Rosie Aerosmith - The Grind, Eyesight to the Blind Billy Idol - Don't You (Forget About Me) Cream - Sunshine of Your Love, Spoonful CCR - Susie Q Deep Purple - Strange Kind of Woman, Hard Lovin' Woman Derek and the Dominoes - Layla and other assorted love songs Foo Fighters - Half their catalogue. Everlong, February Stars, Doll, Breakout, See You, Walking After You, etc Green Day - She, She's a Rebel Guns N' Roses - What you mentioned, plus One In A Million and (arguably) November Rain Iggy Pop - Candy Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl Meat Loaf - I'd Do Anything For Love Stone Temple Pilots - Interstate Love Song (I think, anyway - honestly I'm not 100% sure what this song is about) The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Foxey Lady The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter, Wild Horses This is the list I created in about five minutes off the top of my head, using only well known artists and traditional style love songs (ie no Hard to Handle, no Alison, no Every Breath You Take). Some of them are a bit questionable depending on how you choose to interpret the lyrics, but they're all about love in some form. Love is one of the most widely covered topics in music in general. Love songs and songs about heart break are all over the place.

Perhaps I should narrow it down a little. When I said I wanted more songs like the Aerosmith and Guns n' Roses I meant the pace too. I want them kinda slow, but not too slow. Basically good rock love songs to have sex to.
But you got some good stuff on that list Martian. List more if you can.

I guess I should've picked up on that, since you listed Cryin', which is more about heartbreak and moving on. Anyway, let's see what I got... The White Stripes - I Want to Be the Boy to Warm Your Mother's Heart The Tragically Hip - Ahead By A Century, Bobcaygeon The Smiths - Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want The Rolling Stones - Ruby Tuesday The Raconteurs - Together The Fray - How To Save A Life The Black Crowes - Thorn In My Pride, She Talks To Angels Tenacious D - Fuck Her Gently (I don't think I'd be brave enough to put that on during sex, but it could be good for a laugh) Stone Sour and/or Chris Isaak - Wicked Game Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun Santana featuring Everlast - Put Your Lights On Queen - No One But You Prince (or whatever the hell he's calling himself these days) - Purple Rain Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter, Black, possibly Better Man Our Lady Peace - Clumsy Meat Loaf - Two Out of Three Aint Bad, Heaven Can Wait Led Zeppelin - All My Love, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You Jonny Lang - Breakin' Me John Mayer - Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, Come Back to Bed, possibly 83 Hootie and the Blowfish - Let Her Cry Hoobastank - To Be With You Goo Goo Dolls - Iris, Name Filter - Take A Picture Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust Counting Crows - Round Here, Raining in Baltimore, Anna Begins Blue Oyster Cult - In Thee Barenaked Ladies - When I Fall, What A Good Boy, Lovers in a Dangerous Time, Have You Seen My Love And the quintessential love ballad, Poison - Every Rose Has It's Thorn These aren't all love songs in the strictest sense, and some of them may be a little more upbeat than you're looking for. Some of them are harder or softer, more or less edgy. I think they all have the kind of atmosphere you're looking for, though. Regardless, if you can't something that appeals to you in one of these two lists, I don't think it's to be had.

Some good stuff there, Martian. The best one you listed thus far was The Grind. I've played it at least 6 times by now. Got anything else in that style? Electric guitar is good.

Yeah, this is more along the lines of what I'm looking for. I know for a fact that my girlfriend wouldn't like Black and deem it too slow. Aerosmith seems to have the most in terms of what I need for The Mood.
EDIT: I've found another Aerosmith song that suits perfectly. Called Amazing. EDIT 2: Found some more really good stuff: Mr. Big - To Be With You Steelheart - Angel Eyes (i'll never let you go) Tesla - Love Song Val Halen - Love Walks In, When Its Love, Cant Stop Lovin' You Lifehouse - Hanging By A Moment Lenny Kravitz - It Aint Over Til Its Over Goo Goo Dolls - Iris Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight Bon Jovi - In These Arms Scorpions - Still Loving You Scorpions - Winds of Change Eagles - Love Will Keep Us Alive Eagles - Take it Easy

Bon Jovi - Always Metallica - Nothing Else Matters Scorpions - Winds Of Change David Gray - Sail Away With Me REO Speedwagon - Can't Fight This Feeling Guns N Roses - November Rain Live - Dolphin's Cry Seal - Kiss From A Rose I've never heard Kiss From a Rose, Dolphin's Cry, Always and Sail Away With Me, but they ended up being great.

Not knocking it, man. Don't get me wrong. Just trying to highlight some of the difficulties inherent in being the music guy (which I think is a role I assume much more in person than on here anyway).

No, I understand. Taste plays a huge role in this so I was just hoping people would give me some lists and then I'd choose the stuff I like from them and I have found a lot of songs I've never heard before. Got enough music for two CDs now.
