Anyone have the new Type O Negative?
 

I was wondering what nayone that has the new Type O album thought of it. I was a little disappointed with the last album, whihc I bought without hearing anything from it first and I was a little disappointed. This time around I'm not just going to waltz out an buy it until I hear something, be it a couple of songs or reviews. Yes, I can always go to Rolling Stone or some other site an get a review, but I was wondering if anyone her bought the album and had a real review?

Unfortunately they don't play "good music" on the radio stations here so I won't be able to hear the first single that is getting some airplay around the country.

Yeah, I didn't like the last album either... go to www.roadrunnerrecords.com and you can d/l a few clips of two songs from teh new album. I liek 'em, and will probably pick it up this week.

I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on the new album too. Heard the new single on the radio today, and thought it was all right, but not sure if I wanna drop the money on the CD.

Ok. So I'm guessing noone has drop the cash to pick this up.

Well, I liked the songs I got from the Roadrunner site and I think I;m gonna pick this one up. I'll let everyone know when I grab it and get a chance to listen to it.

Yeah, let us knwo what you think.... I'd liekt o support them, but I really am not sure I'll like the album as I felt the last was lackluster.

lol.. i have had it dl for a week or more.. just have so many other things to listen to haven't checked it out..

Quite frankly I think it's their best album to date with OCTOBER RUST falling closely behind. There is not a single track on LIFE IS KILLING ME that I do not like, every single one is beautifully perfect. I only hope they make more albums like this. On a sidenote I wasn't too impressed with WORLD COMING DOWN either though it had a few excellent tracks on there.

BTW I downloaded the album before buying it and the tracks have changed significantly since it was leaked. If you're a Type-O fan and are contemplating buying this album then you don't deserve to be called a fan 'cause a real fan would go out and buy it without hesitation.

I would have to agree with you here.
As soon as I heard the new one was released I went out and bought it.
It's damn good, thru and thru.
Much better than World Coming Down but i'm not sure if i'm ready to say it's better than October Rust.
