Something I'm starting to get into.

(as in, i'm new, don't kill me yet)

the track "lifted" I just threw together in reason using my lil half busted touchpad on my laptop without any sequencing, just fired off straight from the banks while I recorded it "live" so to speak.

it's clint mansell-ish with a noobie influence (that'd be me) so I dunno.

overall, I like it even with it's flaws.

It's funny. As I won't go very long before switching things up, which turn people off. Your track "Lifted" is just the opposite. I can feel the groove, I can feel a good base to it, but overall, it's not going anywhere. I think you have a good sense of what you want to express, but aren't there yet. I enjoy the mellow beginning, but that's kind of where you leave me too. It might be fun to if you wanted to share your project and people could add to it ? The other track ? Notsomuch.

I like the second one, because I'm imagining the most crazy shit as I listen to it.

They're both really interesting and I look forward to seeing you develop your sound.

yeah it sounds waaay different now in my project file. I ran the drums through some distortion effects and added about 8 more patterns to both the drums and the melodies. the frequencies are pretty full though, its hard to add anymore elements without clashing. I dunno, I sit on these things for about a year before I actually do anything with them though, it's a habit I'm trying to break.

2nd one was kind of a "fightscene" type mood for me. I still haven't worked on it past where it is now.

I'd love to maybe share some split idea projects -- Lifted does has a great sound to it.

hah thanks, i'm glad you guys enjoy it. It's the nice supportive comments that keep me going and inspire me to keep at it. (aside from my own personal enjoyment)

I authorized those friend adds. I'll spend today working on some tunes cuz I'm spending thanksgiving alone. didn't feel like making the drive to see the family this year and all my roomates are gone so the house is all mine today
