Say what?!?!?!? Didn't we agree that you should buy Queen's News Of The World first?!

muttonglutton 03-23-2005 12:10 PM

Ooh, I just bought Portishead - Dummy. It's old, I know. But I really like it.

And it was only nine dollars! How could I go wrong?

magnum_xxxl 03-24-2005 02:41 PM

Black Label Society - Mafia

Definetly worth it, plus its got a little tribute to Dime.

SiNai 03-24-2005 05:49 PM

Zeromancer - Eurotrash
The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute
(Hed) P.E. - Only in America

3 Very very different CD's, all very good in their own style. The hed pe cd is signed by all the band members. I got it at the concert when they were in town.

MacGuyver 03-24-2005 11:06 PM

Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand

qtpye4u84 03-25-2005 03:33 PM

Finally gave in and bought an actual copy of Jeff Buckley's Grace and the Mars Volta's Frances the Mute.

Also picked up the Kaiser Chief's Employment. I dig them.

Ahhh eh heh yeah ughh we did totally! But it was too expensive and when we went to CD exchange today they didn't have it. All they had that I don't have was the Flash Gordon soundtrack and The Miracle. I don't know either of those albums :(. So today I picked up these 2 albums

Eisley - Room Noises
Silvertide - Show & Tell

We wanted to get Gary Wrights hits but apparently $11.99 is too much to pay for a CD. My parents are so cheap. :|

Asta!!

snowy 03-30-2005 10:57 PM

Got Kasabian's self-titled debut tonight and also picked up the Dresden Dolls as well.

If you haven't already, check out the Kaiser Chiefs. They've got a similar amount of pep.

Here's my haul for the past 2 months.

- Wu-Tang Clan: 36 Chambers
- Method Man: Tical
- Ghostface Killah: Supreme Clientele
- Cypress Hill: Cypress Hill
- Daft Punk: Human After All

The Last Cd I bought was a jazz CD of Kenny Wheeler's music. If any of you are a fan of jazz, you should check him out.

maximusveritas 03-31-2005 11:16 PM

Bloc Party - Silent Alarm
Great album, I heavilly recommend this one. I liked the singles and didn't expect much more, but the whole album is top notch.

Manic Skafe, I want your collection!
My last CD was Dimmu Borgir's Death Cult Armageddon.

They had The Miracle and you didn't grab it? You just missed out on one of their best 80's albums :|

K-Wise 04-02-2005 04:11 PM

^ I didn't know that! I've never heard the album before. Guess I shoulda known better :p

Asta!!

Val_1 04-02-2005 06:30 PM

Beck: Guero
-Pretty good. I would recomend the Deluxe version. Only a couple bucks more and it includes the CD and a DVD with 5.1 surround mixes and videos. Cool packaging, too.

The Animals: Retrospective.
-starting to really get into 60's British rock. The Kinks, too.

K-Wise 04-02-2005 06:34 PM

^ The Hollies yo. The fuckin Hollies

Asta!!

meanSpleen 04-02-2005 09:28 PM

The White Stripes - De Stijl (took me forever to finally get this; still their best album)
Olive - Trickle (listen to track 3 please)
Hot Club of Cowtown - Swingin' Stampede
Heather Nova - Oyster
Keren Ann - Nolita (her prior album, Not Going Anywhere, is a little better than this one)

Beck - Guero - After hearing the preview for "Que onda Guero" I knew this was gonna be a good album.

Katamari Damacy Soundtrack - The game had really catchy music, even if it was mainly in Japanese. It makes for good cruisin' music, makes me want to roll things up.

d3cemberist 04-09-2005 11:23 AM

Ben Folds-Songs For Silverman.

Such a great album, I love every track.
