I think you'd be surprised. We've had some discussions about Mike Patton on the TFP before.

Personally I had to vote for Faith No More. Though I like them all. FNM was a groundbreaking band. Patton is just amazing regardless of what band it is though. He's one hell of a live performer also. If you';ve never seen him with any of his bands I strongly recommend it if you get the chance. I saw him last year with Fantomas and they were the opening band. Granted, most of the people in the arena were wondering who the hell this guy was, but they were a bunch of "Mike Patton is God" and "Patton For President" type signs.

I personally prefer the Zappa-esque Mr. Bungle. FMN definitely had the most success thus far, but Tomahawk shows promise.

I think its more of people dont know who Patten is, but would know Mr. Bungle or FNM. Tomahawk is amazing, but faith no more got my vote because from the live things i've downloaded, they seem more energentic and you can understand the words.

Faith No More was like .. my first favorite band.

Mr. Bungle redefined everything I thought I knew about music.

I'm really into Tomahawk lately.. and I think that shows a lot of promise.

The Lovage side project was fantastic.. and I can't wait to hear what Peeping Tom ends up being like.

Anyway, all in all, I think it's safe to say I'm a bit of a Patton fanatic.
