Wouldn't be much point without a hemi or V10.
I like everything but the tail. Looks like a big lump of plastic & foam, which I'm sure it is.

I think it's just a show car instead of a pre-production vehicle.
If you look at the tail end of the car, there's not 3rd brakelight (not that I can see) and the trunk lid looks like it doesn't include any of the brakelight panel (for erogonomics, the trunk lid would cut down to the rear bumper so the lift-over height isn't so high). If that is a production vehicle, expect to see a v6 version.

Honestly I think it looks true to the original unlike the Charger. Nice to see a Dodge without the oversize crosshairs grille.

I really like this car. I hope Diamler Chrysler stays true to the concept. The Charger is a total joke. It may be a fine car as it is, but it is no Charger. 4 doors? Never.
I'd consider this car. Hemi or not. Too bad Plymouth is toast or we might have seen the Barracuda. |

Dodge Challenger Concept
I'm afraid I can't post the pictures, but here's the text and link to the story.
2006 Challenger Concept Quote:
I think it's a neat looking car. I also think it's pretty sad that Detroit, like Hollywood, seems to have run out of original ideas. A cool car will always be a cool car, but a remake of a cool car will just seem...like a remake of a cool car. Why does the new one have to reach back for cred' instead of standing on it's own? It'd be better to have a clear vision of what kind of cars your automaker will make, then get down to making them the best you possibley can. Build a brand and stick to it. Gimmicks will never make one successful in the long term.

i wish they would have given us the shaker hood! maybe even just as an option, but that style hood NEVER sexed me up, not on the original and not now.
