What's the best way....
What's the best way to get my car sold quickly but still get what I want price wise from my car. I've looked at the online stuff and also the paper. Both cost money and I don't know how they fiar in compairson as the good old sign in the window. Also if you have any other tips about getting rid of a car let me know please.

well that kinda depends on what price you want for the car and how reasonable that is based on bluebook and current condition of the car. If you're hoping for full private party bluebook, AND you want to sell it fast, you'll have to put an ad somewhere. If you want significantly less than bluebook and it's a halfway decent car (wanting $300 less than bluebook for a 1984 Caprice Classic station wagon won't cut it here) then a sign in the window will probably work just fine.
If you just want to get rid of the thing, I'll take it off your hands for you |

i've sold cars in the paper and thrifty nickel before with good success, this is of course if it's not that great of a car, hard to sell an 01 Caddy in the thrifty nickel... but i have put ads in and gotten several calls in the first day, sold within a week.
