I see lexus in it. But I think it may just be the lights. In any case, it's a huge improvement over anything currently offered by saturn.

Isn't that an Opel badge on the trunklid? Opel and Saturn are both owned by GM, so that would make sense...

Yep it's going to be a Saturn, but what they say and what they build are usually two different things.

The Opel Antara GTC mid-sized SUV unveiled by General Motors on Monday at the Frankfurt auto show is more than just a concept. It is the next Saturn Vue. At a media sneak preview, GM said the Antara will go into production in the fourth quarter next year, and that it represents Saturn’s future design direction. The Antara concept “will be identical to the future Saturn Vue,”

Looks like a Nissan Murano. No, will never buy a Saturn. My sister owns one, three transmission jobs, collapsed seat springs (she is only 100 lbs) after about 3 years of driving. Two guys in the same building I work own one, too. I can hear them coming about 200 yards before they pull into the parking lot.

Some angles it looks great, others it looks like complete ass. The drivers front area looks great, the back seat passengers looks horrid.

What a 50/50 car.

I love my saturn, had it 4 years, paying it off in a month, it's the best car I've ever had, 40 miles to the gallon and comfortable to boot! I like this new one and can't wait to see what they come out with here in the states, I just want them to ditch the whole ION series, their ugly as hell...

Odd.
I'm in the same boat as basmoq. I bought a lightly used '00 SL2 a few years back, and haven't had a single problem with it. It hasn't been in the shop once, other than regular oil changes and other checkups. Whats even more, is I learnt to drive a stick on it and the transmission is still in excellent condition; and let me tell you, I was not a quick learner.

As far as this new VUE goes, it's not bad. the FX45 is definitly the first thing that came to my mind when i saw the pictures, but that isn't at all a bad thing. Honestly there are other SUVs I'd buy first, but this still looks pretty cool.

I also think it looks Murano-ish as well. It would be nicer if they created something orignal looking. All in all, i'm happy if they get rid of the current Saturn VUE look, i was never a big fan of the appearance of it.

This interior is incredible on the "new VUE". I like that a lot.

2 door SUV - that's interesting. Probably not enough cargo space, but it is striking.

I'm sure once it makes it into production the side exhausts will be gone, the rear glass will be reshaped into something cheaper to make, much of the exterior trim will be cheapened up (especially those cool door handles), and the interior will be replaced with one from some rental car. Concept cars are such a tease.

There will be a 4-door model as well.

Saturn is trying to revive their image. The Sky will be out in the Spring, and I think the Aura and Outlook come out next year too. Here's hoping it works!
