Her name is Rio... (my new car inside)
She's a 1999 monte Carlo Z34. Pics are actually swiped from cardomain, but look nearly identical to mine (mine is completely stock, this guy's got a weird looking hood).
http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...522_4_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...22_15_full.jpg It's got a 3.8 V6 under the hood, all leather interior, discs on all 4 corners, a sunroof and a Kenwood deck that I pulled out of my old car and installed here on the first day of buying it. She's my new baby. Now I need to save my money so I can head over to the dealership and order up a supercharger. |
Wow, how apathetic. Apparently no one cares about Monte's. Or maybe it's the Duran Duran reference.

Sounds nice.
Monte's are pretty cool. My cousin had a green one of the same year for a while. I drove it a few times, and liked it a lot. A supercharger sure would be nice. |
Don't just get a supercharger for it. Get a complete engine. There's more to it than that. www.zzperformance.com has a wiring kit to adapt your harness to the L67 (S/C 3800) PCM, so you can control the supercharger. Besides, I don't think the dealer would sell you one anyways. You can do what I did, and just get a complete engine and transmission with axles. That's the best way to do it, so you don't forget any parts. www.l67swap.com is a good site to reference.
