2005 Gumball 3000 [pictures too, of course]
 

Ohh man, I'm such a huge fan of this event. Every year I envy the participants.

It's basically a rally that occurs in various countries; the path varies every year. A bunch of financially secure, and often times mentally insecure :), people grab the best of the best cars, and participate in the driving rally.

Its a huuuge road-trip party, where the drivers wine and dine in the most luxurious of hotels all throughout the trip.

Anyway, 2005's Gumball started yesterday [5/14] and already there are resources on the net with pictures.

This is an awesome event, and if anyone can get some roadside pics for us, you will be worshipped by all. I didn't feel like getting the new flash player for the official site, but a little part of me died when I saw the decals plastered all over that 288 GTO.

I fixed it.

I have a bunch of videos saved on my computer from the 2003 or 2002 Gumball 3000. They pull off some CRAZY shit. Some of them even fly by cops because they know the cops have no chance in hell of catching them if they are going 160+ MPH on the expressway. Crazy shit.
