Time for a new car(just new to me)

Never owned a Nissan but heard good things so just wondering what you guys think? Im really liking the first one |
whats the price difference between them, if they are similar id definately say the first :)
everyone loves the leather, my car rules with the blue leather yum! |
dont choose an altima over a maxima.. thats for sure.
the maxima is the flagship vehicle of nissan. thats the one you want. |
First one sounds good...buying a pre leased car is one of the greatest things people do. That way you know it's in good shape, plus you don't take the hit of the value of it going down as soon as you leave the lot.
|
Thanks guys I guess its the maxima then...just to bad it a 4 hour drive away...LOL
But there is a 2000 maxima in town but its basic. |
I have to agree with everyone else, the 1st maxima is the best choice. Of course, with out seeing and driving the cars you can't tell which is the best.
|
i have drivin a few maxima's and i would have to say i enjoyed the ride
|
I hope to test drive the one in townmaybe tomorrow or friday!
If I can get my damn van to move(thats the reason I need a car). |
Are you just dead set on a Nissan product?
My two cousins and I all had Nissan Altimas of different years. I had a 95 my cousins had a 97 and 98. Everything was fine UNTIL the electrical gremlins started up. Towards the end I had to replace two alternators, the radio got fried some how,the electrical windows started to go out. My cousins then started to have some of the same problems. One of them started having major issues with her transmission as well. My sister and her husband just bought an 04 Altima and it's already making little odd sounds. So from my experience the Altima isn't the pick of the litter although my friend has an SE-R Sentra and he loves it. |

Leasing a car means you have no reason to take care of it. If were ever dumb enough to lease a car (no offense to anyone who does... it's just way too expensive), I would NEVER maintain it. Simple as that. The car would be a piece of shit by the time I returned it. So I wouldn't buy a preleased car... but that's just me. |

Well my uncle is a mechanic so im going to get him to check it out for me  |
People who lease their cars don't change their oil or maintain the cars. The only things they worry about are keeping the interior nice and the paint scratch-free.
|
I wouldnt look at a Nissan unless it had ABS. I truely hate that company for not including as standard equipment. As for your selections, The very first Maxima would be a pick I'd take.
|
well if price is not an option then i would go with the 2001 maxima
|
I've owned a couple of Nissans. A 1990 pickup and a 1997 Maxima. I've loved both. I sold the pickup with 185k miles w/o problems and my Maxima has 174k with nothing done except maintenance. It was a turned in lease. I got it with 38k on it. I just bought an 05 Quest for the family and I love it too. By the way, back in the day I was strictly a Chevy man. I learned my lesson.
