Truck was totaled
Last tuesday (jan 18) my truck was rolled I let my dad borrow it so he could get to work and he hit a patch of black ice. He was able to walk away with a couple of scratches and bruises. Here are some pictures. Thank god for insurance =)

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Amazing that your dad came out of it with just a couple of bruises, the roof looks smashed in.
|
dang... glad he's alright... reminds me of the pics of when arie rolled a truck...
|
wow, that looks exactly like my ford ranger after i rolled it a bunch of years ago. eesh, brings back some scary memories. i only ended up with a sore neck.
good to hear your dads ok. |
Wow,did he hit something with the roof or did it just roll on top of it ? I always thought there was a law that the roof must support the car/truck weight if it ever flipped.Because looking at the pictures if there was an passenger he would have been dead or hurt badly.

It's nice how the roof is caved in except for over the driver's seat.

Ya thats a little wierd, It would have sucked to be the passenger. Good to hear your dads alright my buddy rolled his cavalier a month ago because of a damn deer. |
He walked away from that?! ...how did he get out of the cabin...?
|
Very Lucky winter sucks for driving...
|
Your dad is very lucky, flipping a car/truck is one of the worst things that can happen, especially in winter when emergency response times are even longer because of ice snow etc
