All for the McLaren :-D
Waaaaaaay too luxurious for me. I couldn't give a rats ass about plush leather at 200+mph. Just think of what an ass you'd feel like if you got shown up by an engine builder who did it with 3/4 the displacement, 1/4 the forced induction, and 1/2 the cylinders. Not even going to mention how much cheaper it would be... |

"1,250 newton-meters (922 lb/ft of torque) overwhelm any opposition put up by gravity or aerodynamic drag to such an extent that the Bugatti EB 16-4 Veyron seems to be moving along the road as if these physical forces simply didn't exist."
Holy crap. My mind has trouble processing that number in that context. |

Something tells me that with an engine like that, you're not exactly gonna have much time to open a soda or drink your slurpee! You are gonna be hauling ass in a major sorta way, not going to 7-11 for a chili dog at 3 a.m. on a Tuesday...
You don't need a cup holder, but you may need a diaper. 1000+ HP? come on... Someone is gonna shit their pants when they stomp that gas pedal. Can you imagine how fun 1000 HP would be though? Burnout the Honda kids... Plus the car looks kinda like a space pod or something, therefore pleasing all the kids who ever wanted to be an astronaut, but couldn't make it!

The first time I saw it I thought to myself " Damn those Italians can design a car! " Then I found out it was a German company founded by an Italian.
It is pretty hard to beat German precision combined with Italian style. This is a car you buy because you can. It's not really even a car. This is an exceptional work of art. Nobody buys a Picasso because its a good picture, they buy it so they can have a Picasso. This is what you drive when money is no longer an issue. |
