I found this ad in my local paper
1990 NISSAN STANZA, 2.4L, 4cyl, at, no rust, Texas car, clean, new radiator, water in oil, 97k miles, $199 ;

I heard the nissans had a problem with the the timing chain guide breaking which would cause the timing cover to get worn out by the chain causing the coolant to seep in the oil pan.

If thats the problem i'll buy it, the questions I have are the following

How reliable are these cars?

Is the timing chain thing a known problem? I heard it is on the forums, I just want to know if anyone has any personal experience, its a KA24E engine.

How good of gas mileage does it get? If its good enough my caddy will get parked!

I'm taking a look at it tomorrow, i'm hoping for a deal.
