Explorer SportTrack: Looks like a tuner version of the Escape, and not a very good one.
Range Rover: No significant change. Which is fine, it already looked good. Eclipse: Isn't this concept a year old? I still hate it. Gladiator: Best of the bunch, it looks great. The Jeepiest Jeep in some time MX-crossover: Meh. Meta-One: Just like every other Mercury, could they make the rebadging any more transparent? |

I'm not really impressed by any of those. I just don't like concepts...they're too far out there. Somehow I'm just not into weird shapes and angular lines.
That being said, I really, really love the new Mercury Montego (version of the Ford 500). There's just something about it...maybe that it looks like a Merc S Class...that I adore. Plus it has cool LED lights ::

Do they think we forget so fast?
It's almost exactly a year old, if this is to be believed. http://www.conceptcarz.com/view/vehicle.aspx?carID=7717 |

Explorer SportTrack: I think it's awesome. Normally I prefer the design of Chevy trucks, but I'd buy this one if I had the funds and was in the market for this type of vehicle.
Range Rover: 120 more horsepower is always good! Eclipse: Fuck Eclipses. It was ruined the day they dropped a V6 in it. It's one of the fugliest cars on the road right now. Gladiator: I like it, but I doubt it'll ever be made, sorta like most of Jeep's concepts. MX-crossover: I like it, and I bet most mom's would wet themselves at first site. Meta-One: I'd say that's probably the best design in that vehicle's catagory. Again, wet mom's everywhere...

Because it's true.
I've got a calendar with a bunch of various old GM products and I would take almost every last one of them over the cars we can chose from now days. But things are getting better they really are. RWD is making a comeback, the V8 is no longer a dirty word. And people are at least TRYING new styling cues in some of the cars. Check out Cadillacs line up and the stuff from Chrysler and Dodge is fairly unique. |
