Next gen Evo/STI

This is something i found, kinda interesting. Luckily just prototypes, i kinda find them ugly, but thats just my opinion. The STI looks a little better i guess.

The STI doesn't look so bad. Reminds me of an old Skyline for some reason. The Evo kinda looks like a Neon. The back just looks stunted. I'll keep my Lancer thankyouverymuch.

The Evo looks plain fuckin' weird, but I think the STi is an improvement on the current model.

Can't say that I'm too impressed, but then again I like cars with a somewhat boxy look. The headlights on the STI scream, "I totally ripped off the G35/Skyline." So also, what's the deal with that nasty hood on the EVO? The bold flare on the current WRX/STI and this prototype make me smile every time though.

Those are most likely the specs for a JDM STi. I can't imagine the engine size decreasing in the US from 2.5 to 2 litres.

They look a bit better than the current designs, but that's not saying much.

I think they're both pretty ugly, but I'd have to say the STI does look a little better than the Evo.

am i the only one that thinks they both look photoshopped and completely fake? or is that just me? i can kinda see that the STi looks kinda like Subaru would do, but i doubt very much that Mitsubishi would design something that hideogerous (hid-e-ogre-us)

How so? Besides, i never said it was exactly what they are going to look like. Maybe its just a drawn prototype, who knows, i just thought it was interesting.

Dunno about the Subaru but that Mitsu is legit. I've seen camoed pics of the next Gen Lancer and that's it without the camo. And yes it's THAT ugly. But then again I've never thought Mitsu stuff ever looked good.

Holy shit, not one, but TWO manufacturers ripped off the butt-ugly SRT-4.

As I typed that I remembered that Mitsu is a Daimler-Chrysler-Mercedes-Benz-names-of-every-company-we've-ever-owned-get-hyphenated-and-go-here affiliate, so they can at least claim that it was forced on them by the management when people start throwing up on showroom floors.
