Truck won't stay running
I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado that dies right after I start it, unless I keep my foot on the gas. Upon taking my foot off the gas, it dies again. I haven't started it since Thursday, and it is a little chilly outside, but I wouldn't think that would be much of a problem on a newer model like this.
I'm going out of town on Friday... and I'm supposed to be driving, so I'm in a bit of a hurry. Any suggestions? |

Almost sounds like a Throttle Position Sensor, or, maybe, since you mention it, an Intake Air Temp Sensor. Could also be fuel system related. Get a guage to check fuel pressure, and if it's low, you've found your problem.

i agree with justiceforphat - sounds like an idle air control vavle problem. pretty cheap part, and easy to change yourself.
