fighting rust
 

i am building a 71 510 and i am fighting rust and i was windering what you guy's know about navel jelly i was told that it turns rust back in to mettal is that true if not is there any thing that will work because i really dont want to have to patch weld body panel's

Well any metal that has rust on the interior usually I take a wire wheel on a hand die grinder after...then if there are any holes then you have to weld little patch panels...then for the interior I prime and use rubber undercoating. and for the underneath I get some acid to etch the metal after derusting, then prime....

Sandblaster. It's messy, noisy, and you have to be careful, but it will get rid of rust.
