Maryland Motorcycle Riders - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Well, Spring is here and if it ever stops raining, it'll be bike time again. I'm looking for one of two things, either to organize a couple of Saturday/Sunday rides in Maryland for TFP'ers and friends, or to get input from anybody in Maryland (rider or not) as to what the best areas to ride in are.

For instance, the two area's I'm most familiar with are work and home. Work is Frederick, which has a heck of a lot of nice country and mountain roads. Home is between Columbia and Baltimore, so I've got Old Ellicott city, Oella, Elkridge, etc.

If you aren't a rider, the type of conditions that would make a road excellent are a fairly clear line of site, little/no debris or washout on the road, moderate to advanced twisties (curves), and as little traffic as possible.

As for me, I roll on a '95 Honda Magna VF750D. Good acceleration, moderate top speed, but there's no way in hell that I can keep up with a sport bike eager to get away from me.
