WANTED-LATE MODEL ELKY
 

I have a long term goal of owning another El Camino. I had a '74 that I had to part with, and I am looking around for a late model one. '85, '86, '87?.
I have a friend making a trip in about a month to west coast, and Colarado areas.

Would look at/like:
V6 or V8, Air Con, Auto, Cruise, Full instument pack, good paint, minimal rust. I want to be able to drive it for a few years befor I have to spend big bucks on it, 'cause it will broke me just to buy it!

Been checking ebay of late, some nice ones around......

Man go for a 69 if you can best looking year out there!

I know! but at 43 Years, I am looking for comfort. not pace.
Anyways, at $4.50 a gallon in OZ, I need economy!

My Step Dad has an 81 El Camino V6 for sale. The car is currently in Grants Pass, OR. I'm not sure of what he wants for it, but if your interested I can get by there sometime next weekend and take some pics and ask them about price, etc. and then give you some details.
