I guess its a demonstration of a truck proof barrier to prevent car bombs and such getting too close to buildings. That is one hell of a crash and a very effective barrier.

I work in the collision repair industry, and have seen what happens to vehicles and structures when hit bit a heavy truck like that. That wall is unsupported. Wow. Engineering marvel. |

So if it is indeed an intentional crash done in order to test a barrier, that means the truck was remote-controlled, and hence without a driver (ph34r my reasoning skills). That takes away from the whole drama of it all. Meh.
