Ideas for my project car.......

Ok so about 2 months ago I went out and bought a 1994 Chevy Camaro V6 for only 2300 bucks. I bacically stole it from this guy it being so damn cheap. It had minor paint damage, bad alternator, some cracks in the dash, a cracked back glass, and 103,000 miles. Since then I have replaced the alternator, got a new back glass, bought a flowmaster 80 series muffler, gutted the cat. bought a k&n cold air intake kit, and some 3.5 inch chrome tips. The exhaust sounds ok, not like a true Z28 but I wasn't expecting much since it is a v6 after all. My question to you all is what else could I do to this car to make it faster and/or perform better??? Any suggestions or web sites containing information would be greatly appreciated. I also have a 98 Toyota 4 Runner Ltd im looking aroud for performance parts for so if you know any good sites for that feel free to share, thanks yall.

Honestly? I would repair the existing damage, and sell it for around a 500-1000 dollar profit. Then buy a z28, if that is the 3.4l v6, which i think it is, that thing is a total dog. Just sell it and get a z28. But, thats just my way of looking at it, i think anything else you would do would be a waste.

Yeah. You can get a basically new Z 28 nowadays for around 15k, and older LS1's for under 10.

Sell it. Putting money into it may prove to be financially irresponsible. Modifications rarely pay for themselves and sometimes adversly effect performance.

Buy a nice car/truck. Leave it as stock as you can. Get a good warranty and let it pay for breakdowns.

I usually make sure a vehicle has:
Nice tunes.
Very safe tires.
Awesome brakes.
Leafproof exhaust.
Lightly tinted windows.
Fog/driving lights based on my location.

Save your money for education or real estate. Been there, done that, learned my lesson.

You got ripped off. Fix it up and sell it for profit if you can, like Stare At The Sun said. A friend of mine is selling his excellent condition + modified supreme sound system, 1995, 50k original miles Camaro for ~3 grand. (Mary Prankster sticker on the bumper included.)
And definitely, definitely get a Z28 if you're going to get a used Camaro.

Sell it and buy something with a v8..you would have way more options to soup it up so it would = more fun. Even if you dump alot of money into like i'm doing to mine...it's worth it for the fun and the feeling of doing it yourself.

Do you actually want to make it faster than a Z28 or just sound and look like one?

I would start with either a mod chip from Hypertech or a power programmer they both can help you out but the programmer is a little more expensive....but the are both do it yourself jobs...

Loser

Neverlift 25.1 backhalf, steel tube chassis, Musi 632 BBC with 2 stage fogger. When all is said and done, you should only be set back in the neighborhood of $80-$100k, and you should be in the 7's.
