I don't think that's an SL500, but who's counting.
Unless it's supercharged for 2004, Kompressor means it would be SC'ed. The SL500 is just the 302hp 5.0L V8. Unless those pictures came from Germany, they have a Kompressor SC'ed V8 over there. It reminds me of when they unveiled the new Jaguar XJ. They didn't chrome the car, what they did was buff and polish the aluminum body to such a high gloss that it both showed off the curves brilliantly as well as highlighted the fact that it's a totally aluminum vehicle. I wonder if a similar technique was used here. I'd hate to think how heavy a chromed car would be! SLM3 |
