Question about installing Coilovers PICS

Friend of mine just ordered some coilovers and shocks for his Del Sol. They came in today and we were looking at them. Neither of us has ever installed them before. We had a few questions about them.

the threaded sleeve drops way down into the cup, and it dosent fit in there tightly, wobbles around a bit, is this normal? do you lose that much of you adjustability?

in this pic i picked up the threaded part of the coilover so you can see how much is in the cup

here is a shot with the spring in place

These are the rear ones, and the front ones dont seem to fit the shock much better that the rear.. any suggestions?

Did the coilovers come with mounts or do you have to use your stock ones?? BTW the setup looks fine to me.

almost all "sleeve" style coilovers retain the factory shock/strut mounts unless it came with new ones in your kit.
