Volvo to build car targeted at women
Volvo has decided to let a group of women design a car for women, including the following features:
Quote:
Sounds like a great idea for Volvo to make money when people can't open the hoods when something with their 'maintentance free' car goes wrong and they need to get it fixed at the dealership. If women are tired of being treated poorly at dealerships, why belittle them further by giving them a dumbed down car? Why not educate the ones who want to work on them on their own? I dunno. This seems really stupid and insulting on one hand, and makes me laugh. And there is no other hand. All this bitching about striving for equality of the sexes and then they go and want THIS. WOMEN are designing this!

Sounds like a stupid ass idea to me. Can't believe that they really want something like that. If this is the future...we've got serious problems.

I'm no female, but I wouldn't change my Volvo for anything... (OK, there're couple of cars I would go for, but generally they cost at least 5 times more than my Volvo... ) |
