E-Brake light on while driving

No, I'm not a woman....The brake isn't pulled up lol....I'm driving on the highway and the red brake light comes on...stays on for a minute than goes off....happened a few times...any idea whats up?

My suggestion would be to check the level of your brake fluid. Some cars use the handbrake (e-brake)light as a warning.
Let us know how it goes.

That's exactly right. Something has gone goofy in the brake system, most likely the brake fluid level has dropped. You need to top it off, and find out why it was low.

Yeah if it is low, definitely find out why. Usually its either because you have a leak in the system or your pads are quite worn. Either case needs attention.

If the level is correct, move the brake handle or behind the emergency brake pedal and look for a loose switch. the light is normally actiated by the switch and or the resrvouir level switch

my E-Brake is broken so all I did was take the light bulb out

If the light stays on after you add fluid, get the brakes checked ASAP. Could signify something more serious.
